Robinson’s Holidays coach services leaflet Summer 1982 – side 1

Robinson’s Holidays of Great Harwood, Lancashire – an old established coach tour operator in the North West of England – took advantage of the opportunity of the deregulation of long distance coaching by offering services to a number of holiday resorts in the south of England.

The company had operated to Great Yarmouth/Norfolk Broads before deregulation and later added services London, Eastbourne, Bournemouth/Boscombe and Torquay services. They also offered seats to a number of other destinations on board their tour coaches.

Pick-ups were offered from a broad catchment area which no doubt creamed off the once lucrative weekend holiday traffic of the traditional service operators such as Ribble and Yelloway.
