Matthews Coaches (Blue Coach Service) 42 (ANK 329X) in Castle Acre – Aug 1991 (146-20)
August 1991 – Matthews Coaches (Blue Coach Service) of Shouldham, Norfolk 42 (ANK 329X) seen in the village of Castle Acre.

It is a Plaxton Supreme bodied Bedford YMT that was new to Horseshoe Coaches, London N15 in March 1982.

That boy snuck in by the back way, I bet. I don't think he would have got through the castle gate. I don't know if there are any further restrictions on buses. Certainly the concentration of interesting sites per acre is quite high, and you might end up with coaches flooding the village. It certainly merits more attention than it gets.

I recommend the tearoom, which I think is the flint building.

I meant the farther flint building but obviously it's the nearer one. I didn't fully appreciate the significance of a sign reading "Tea Room".
