Cambus Limited 736 (SUB 794W) and 266 (PTD 671S) in Cambridge – 8 Jun 1990 (119-20A)
Friday 8 June 1990 - Cambus had been privatised on 5 December 1986 when the company was bought by its management. In the early days the new owners made a number of secondhand acquisitions and two such vehicles are seen here during the evening peak in Emmanuel Street, Cambridge.

Left is 736 (SUB 794W) working the Park and Ride service 102 to Cowley Road. It is an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR new in March 1981 to York-West Yorkshire (3770).

Right is 266 (PTD 671S), a Leyland National 1 new to Lancashire United Transport in April 1978 as their fleet number 534 LUT was a Greater Manchester PTE subsidiary. It was working service 44 a former Premier Travel service which had been taken over just a short time before on 20 May 1990.
Another Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR in fleet livery is visible behind.
