Shearings 946 (R946 YNF) at the Clock House Hotel, Welwyn – 19 May 1998 (399-15A)

Friday 19 May 1998 (0840) – Shearings 946 (R946 YNF), a Jonckheere Mistral bodied Volvo B10M new in April 1998, seen at the Clock Hotel, Welwyn. It was on a ‘Royal Palace and Gardens’ tour (Tour EB61).

The Clock Hotel was demolished after a fire in 2010 and the site is now occupied by residential properties named Clock House Gardens. The large roundabout adjacent to the properties was known locally as the Clock House roundabout – probably still is!
