Millerbus Limited (Cambus) 712 (OPW 182P) in Cambridge – 1 Aug 1994 (233-16)

Monday 1 August 1994 (approx. 1415) – In February 1992 Cambus Holdings Limited acquired the business of Miller Bros of Foxton that traded as Millerbus In February 1992 Cambus Holdings Limited acquired the business of Miller Bros of Foxton that traded as Millerbus and Cambus used the name for some time afterwards with vehicles painted in a red and cream livery. Some Miller vehicles were included in purchase although some vehicles from the main Cambus fleet were repainted thus although retaining their Cambus fleet numbers.

Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR 712 (OPW 182P) had been new to Eastern Counties Omnibus Company in July 1976 as VR182. For a time it had been one of the two buses that was assigned to the
ECOC outstation at Mildenhall.

It was seen heading into Drummer Street bus station in Cambridge.
