Jersey Bus & Boat Tours J 8903 (ex KGU 284) in St. Helier - 6 Aug 2019 (P1030693)

Tuesday 6 August 2019 – Jersey Bus and Boat Tours operates former London Transport Park Royal bodied Leyland 7RT number RTL326 primarily between Liberation Station, St. Helier and the Jersey War Tunnels. It was seen outside the bus station in St. Helier loading for the Tunnels. However, the rear destination blind still shows, in French, the text for the free shuttle it worked earlier in the day from the ferry port to the town centre having met the morning ferry from St. Malo.

New in August 1949 as KGU 284 it now carries Jersey registration J 8903. Note the Public Vehicle Plate (PSV Char-a-Banc) carried on the rear which is issued by the licensing authorities for the States of Jersey.
