Coaches at Gorey - 6 Aug 2019 (P1030776)

Tuesday 6 August 2019 – Mont Orgueil Castle at Gorey forms the backcloth to this photograph. Two Tantivy Blue coaches flank Waverley Coaches 20 (J 93812), a Leicester Carriage Builders ‘Islander’ bodied Cannon Hi-Line new in May 2001.

The Tantivy Blue coaches are, on the left, 16 (J 24573), a Wadham Stringer bodied Leyland Swift that had been new to Blue Coach Tours in April 1989. Tantivy and Blue Coach Tours were merged in November 1996. On the right is 61 (J 14616), also a Leicester Carriage Builders ‘Islander’ bodied Cannon Hi-Line that had been new to Pioneer Coaches as their number 4 in September 1998.
