Arriva Merseyside 4411 (CX58 FZZ) at Morecambe - 25 May 2019 (P1020296)

Saturday 25 May 2019 - Stagecoach North West hosted an open day at their Morecambe garage to celebrate 100 years since the formation of Ribble Motor Services and the following day the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust held the 'Morecambe Vintage Bus Day' rally all making for an interesting weekend. Both events featured preserved buses and coaches in the colours of operators that worked services with Ribble.

Whilst it was Stagecoach that later acquired the larger part of the Ribble operating area, Arriva had Ribble ancestry on Merseyside. Arriva Merseyside 4411 (CX58 FZZ), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Trident new in January 2009, carries the poppy red National Bus Company used by Ribble in the NBC era.
