DSCF2070 Preserved China Motor Bus LM10 (FW 3858) (K481 EUX) - Fenland Busfest - 20 May 2018

Sunday 20 May 2018 (1317) – The annual Fenland Busfest is impressively organised by the Eastern Bus Enthusiasts Group and staged in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. As part of the event a number of rally entrants participate in running on a network of free bus services throughout the day which depart from the Buttermarket, the main square of the town.

In this photograph is an Alexander RH bodied Leyland Olympian that is preserved in the livery of its original owner, China Motor Bus of Hong Kong. New in 1993 it carried fleet number LM10 and registration FW 3858. In 1998 it passed to New World First Bus (also in Hong Kong) and was later imported to Britain in 2001 taking on registration K481 EUX. It has operated with three different First subsidiary companies, First PMT, First Glasgow; and First Eastern Counties.
