Deceuninck Autos (De Lijn contractor) 355129 (HHP 037) in Ieper – 31 Oct 1995
Tuesday 31 October 1995 (approx. 1220) – Deceuninck Autos 355129 (HHP 037), a Jonckheere Trans City bodied Volvo B10R-55 new in June 1988, seen at Ieper Railway/Bus Station working De Lijn service 64a to Roeseleare – the home of the Jonckheere factory where the body was built.

De Lijn (Vlaamse Vervoersmaatschappij De Lijn) was created in 1991 from the northern part of NMVB (Nationale Maatschappij van Buurtspoorwegen). Deceuninck works a number of contracts on their behalf. Vehicles in De Lijn’s bus and tram fleet carry four digit fleet numbers but the buses operated by contractors carry six digit fleet numbers – the first four digits relate to the De Lijn contract number with the final two digits are the operators own fleet number. Unusually the contract/fleet number in this case is carried on a window card.
