(De Lijn contractor) Deceuninck Autos 355122 (ERR 319) in Roeselare – 5 Feb 1996

Monday 5 February 1996 (1337) – De Lijn (Vlaamse Vervoersmaatschappij De Lijn) was created in 1991 from the northern part of NMVB (Nationale Maatschappij van Buurtspoorwegen). The company operates its own large bus and tram fleet which carry four digit fleet numbers but there are many buses operated by contractors which carry six digit fleet numbers – the first four digits relate to the De Lijn contract number with the final two digits are the operators own fleet number.

Deceuninck Autos was the contracted operator for the Roeselare town service 2. Jonckheere Trans City bodied Volvo B10R-55 355122 (ERR 319), new in January 1980, was seen at the Spoelstraat terminus on the north side of the town.

After service with Deceuninck the vehicle passed to Vandenaweele Gebeoeders in January 1998 becoming their 367196 with registration number GFG 737.
