SELNEC PTE 6180 (NDK 980) lower deck to rear - Apr 1977

April 1977 - Between 1956 and 1959 Rochdale Corporation Transport purchased 55 Weymann bodied AEC Regent Vs numbered 268-322. This interior view shows the style which was the hallmark of the Corporation - only the orange paint around the platform area betraying the post-Corporation era. In November 1969 the Corporation’s bus undertaking was absorbed by the SELNEC PTE that applied fleet numbers 6168-6222 to these vehicles. This bus (NDK 980) delivered in June 1956 carried the fleet number 280 with the Corporation and 6180 with SELNEC. It was now pending disposal.
