The city has a lot of interesting architecture and in this view the one nearest the camera is the Mersey Tunnel Control Centre whose tower is actually a ventilation or exhaust shaft for the Queensway Tunnel. Beyond that (the lower height building) is the Cunard Building. Finally the tall building is the unmistakable Royal Liver Building featuring the famous Liver Birds.
