DSCF8069 Liverpool's 'Cavern Club' and an Arriva Merseyside bus (just!) - 16 Jun 2017
Friday 16 June 2017 (1735) – One of Liverpool’s most visited landmarks is the Cavern Club made famous by the Beatles who regularly played there. Not quite what it once was today’s club was rebuilt in the early 1980s using bricks from the original building which had closed about ten years before to make way for the Merseyrail underground railway loop project. Buses can’t pass the front door but there is an Arriva Merseyside Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LH in the background to this photograph which was travelling along North John Street.
