Flaine Resort 6148 SH 74 – Aug 1990

August 1990 - The Flaine resort administration operated a rather nice little Magirus-Deutz midi-coach (6148 SH 74) which carried lettering and graphics promoting the ski resort. The ‘f’ of the word Flaine symbolises skis, the village’s prime attraction although there was no snow when we visited during the month of August! Flaine is built on different levels and in the background there can be seen the track of a small ‘ascenseur’ (elevator) linking two of the levels. The single car first travelled on an almost level plane before descending at a steeper incline.
