Premier Travel Services E361 NEG and E367 NEG at Waterbeach - 13 May 1990

Sunday 13 May 1990 - In readiness for the changeover from Premier Travel Services to Cambridge Coach Services Limited, a new base was set up for CCS at Waterbeach. One week before the official changeover we see Premier Travel 361 (E361 NEG), a Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M new in 1988, at Waterbeach in the livery of National Express. Quite soon the National Express branding was removed and temporarily CCS fleetnames were applied to the overall white coach and a little time later it was repainted into CCS fleet livery. Despite the National Express livery the coach was about to work the 1545 departure from Cambridge to Gatwick on Premier’s own service 78, returning from Gatwick at 1945 on service 79.
