Cambridge Coach Services E366 NEG at Terminal 4, LHR - 21 Oct 1990

Cambridge Coach Services E366 NEG at Terminal 4, LHR - 21 Oct 1990
Sunday 21 October 1990 - Cambridge Coach Services 366 (E366 NEG), a Volvo B10M with Plaxton Paramount body new to Premier Travel in 1988, seen at Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 bus and coach station when working the 1345 hrs service 78 from Cambridge to Gatwick Airport. The new silicon chips for the destination screens had arrived since the previous Sunday when I drove this coach. Previously the screen showed ’78 GATWICK A/P’ whereas the new ones did not show the ‘A/P’ which I always thought to be an odd abbreviation for ‘Airport’. On the previous Sunday (14 October) the speedo reading was 565189 km and at the end of this day was 570919 therefore this coach had covered 5730 kms (approx 3560 miles) during the past eight days. The tail of a British Airways Boeing 747 can be seen behind.
