295/01 Premier Travel Services VAV 257X - Sat 22 June 1985 (Ref 849-03)

Saturday 22 June 1985 - Premier Travel Services 295 (VAV 257X), a Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Tiger. This was only my second day working part time for Premier after passing my PSV test so I was quite enthralled at having to drive such a prestigious vehicle so soon! I ran empty from Cambridge to Ashdon to work a private hire to Wicksteed Park, near Kettering. (Departing Ashdon 0900 arriving Wicksteed 1040. Returning from Wicksteed at 1555 arriving back in Ashdon at 1725). After a break I then worked a bingo contract from Haverhill (1830) to Cambridge (1910) returning from Cambridge (2140) only needing to go as far as Linton before heading back to Cambridge garage to park up.
