256/01 Premier Travel Services KVE 907P at Hunstanton - Sat 13 July 1985 (Ref 22-26)

Saturday 13 July 1985 - Premier Travel Services 256 (KVE 907P), a Plaxton Supreme bodied AEC Reliance seen in Hunstanton bus station. Today I had driven empty from Cambridge to Luton to work a feeder service from there to Huntingdon connecting with the Cambridge-Skegness service 3. Leaving Luton at 0840 the feeder travelled via Bedford (0915), where it also became a feeder to the Yorks Coaches vehicle working the joint Premier Travel/Yorks Northampton-Hunstanton-Cromer service 40. Today passenger bookings were such to warrant the coach working through as a duplicate as far as Hunstanton where I arrived at 1230, five minutes ahead of the timetable. The coach was not required as a return duplicate on service 40 so I returned empty to Cambridge for my next assignment, a bingo contract from Newton to Newmarket. The return trip was assigned to another driver enabling me to return empty to Cambridge and finish the day at 2015. (Ref 22-26)
