Saturday 21 September 1985 - Saturday 21 September 1985 - Premier Travel Services 278 (WEB 408T), a Plaxton Supreme bodied AEC Reliance new in 1979, seen at the company’s premises in Camps Road, Haverhill, a doctor’s surgery stands on the site today. After a mid-morning start and driving on service 792 (Cambridge-Peterborough-Bottisham) I was assigned this coach to work a private hire from Haverhill to Castle Hedingham. I left Haverhill at 1925 arriving at Castle Hedingham at 2040 and returned from there at 0100 finally leaving the garage at 0210. 254 (JVE 373P) is visible in the background. This site is now occupied by a medical centre in Camps Road. (Ref 27-35)
