Hardwick's Services RUA 294 in Scarborough circa 1967

Hardwick's Services RUA 294, a Leyland bodied Leyland PD2/12 new in 1953. It was seen in the doorway of Newham's Garage, the departure point in Scarborough - note the small company office on the right.

The Hardwick's business was acquired by Wallace Arnold Tours in 1952 and operated from Scarborough via Snainton (where the garage was) to Ebberston. On market days the service continued via Yedingham to Malton.
