DSCN6172 Stephensons of Essex LX51 FGG in Bury St. Edmunds - 8 Jul 2011

Friday 8 July 2011 (1148) - Stephensons of Essex Limited took over the failed business of Burtons Coaches at the end of May 2011 which brought quite a variety of buses to Suffolk like former Stagecoach Selkent LX51 FGG, an Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart painted in London red which was seen in Bury St Edmunds. It had been converted to single door although the panels where the centre door was located remain unpainted aluminium. This bus received fleet number 437 and became one of the five 'Breeze' branded buses used on Bury St. Edmunds town services.
