DSCN7066 Stephensons of Essex LX51 FGE in Bury St. Edmunds - 24 Oct 2011

Monday 24 October 2011 (1450) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’ competing with First Eastern Counties and Mulleys. Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart 435 (LX51 FGE) was seen in St.Olaves Road on the Howard Estate when working service 2. (I believe the ‘Breeze’ services started on Friday 21 October although the official date was scheduled for Monday 24 October). The bus was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD305.
