Yes indeed, Serge, the water is very clear there, but I didn't see any fishermen. I think at exactly THIS place it's forbidden, but the fishermen have a lot of possibilities elsewhere.

Oui c'est correct, Christa. Le mot washhouse veut dire un bâtiment ou une dépendance dans lequel on lave des vêtements. En Écosse il y a une phrase 'the talk of the steamie', qui décrit quelqu'un (ou quelque chose) qui est sujet de commérages ou de scandale. Amitiés, Joe

Je comprends tout à fait, si tu viens du Morbihan ou si tu es même Vannetais, c'est un lieu "magique" - même pour ceux qui ne sont que des visiteurs....
