The ladybird is doing a great job Doug. I also like the detail captured in the bee shot, of the cow parsley and the insect. Together they made a great collage, which is also nicely framed.

Doug, What two super shots !!! the pips even better. great focus and composition. But Doug, arn't these little things called Ladybugs, not LadyBIRDS.? just curious about these being birds or bugs.? Thanks very much for your visit and kind comment Sarah. Apparently the Ladybird/Ladybug is a beetle, called; surprise, surprise, the Ladybeetle! In one way you Americans are more accurate calling it the Ladybug, it is after all a 'BUG', hardly a bird! I will continue to call them Ladybirds. Having do so for seventy plus years I have no wish to confuse myself now;-))
