Dieses Aurorafalter Männchen (Anthocharis cardamines) saugt immer wieder mal Nektar an einer blühenden Knoblauchsrauke (Alliaria petiolata), um anschließend vorbeifliegende Weibchen anzubalzen. Die Weibchen legen nach der Begattung die befruchteten Eier an Blättern der Knoblauchsrauke, der bevorzugten Futterpflanze der Raupen, ab.

After mating, the females lay the fertilised eggs on the leaves of the garlic mustard, the preferred food plant of the caterpillars.
