Es ist wieder Pilzzeit - It's mushroom season again
Nach diesem trockenen und heißen Sommer war eigentlich zu erwarten, dass die Waldpilze schweren Schaden genommen haben und es in diesem Herbst kaum Pilze zu sehen geben könnte. Die Begründung war auch einleuchtend: Der eigentliche Pilz ist ja das riesige Hyphengeflecht, das viele Quadratmeter im Boden erreichen kann. Beim Hallimasch soll sich das Mycel sogar etwa einen km² ausdehnen. Die nach den lange andauernden Regenfällen erscheinenden Pilze zeigen aber, dass die Mycelien der verschiedenen Pilzarten die Trockenheit im Boden doch recht gut überstanden haben. Nur Röhrenpilze scheinen doch stärker unter der Trockenheit gelitten zuhaben, denn sie sind im Moment recht selten.
Den Blätterpilz im Foto konnte ich nicht bestimmen. Ich fand ihn in einem Eichen-Mischwald. Der Hutdurchmesser des rechten Pilzes lag bei 6-8 cm. Vielleicht kann mir da jemand weiter helfen.
After this dry and hot summer, it was actually to be expected that the forest mushrooms had suffered severe damage and that there would hardly be any mushrooms to be seen this autumn. The reasoning was also plausible: the actual fungus is, after all, the huge hyphal network that can reach many square metres in the soil. In the case of the Hallimasch, the mycelium is even said to extend to about one km². However, the mushrooms that appeared after the long rains show that the mycelia of the various fungal species survived the drought in the soil quite well. Only boletales seem to have suffered more from the drought, as they are quite rare at the moment.
I could not identify the gilled mushroom in the photo. I found it in a mixed oak forest. The cap diameter of the mushroom on the right was 6-8 cm. Maybe someone can help me further.
