Wunderbar,
Da stand er da im Silberhaar.
Aber eine Dame,
Lisa war ihr Name,
Machte ihre Backen dick,
Machte ihre Lippen spitz,
Blies einmal, blies mit Macht,
Blies ihm fort die ganze Pracht.
Und er blieb am Platze,
Zurück mit einer Glatze.

Die Rede ist natürlich von der Pusteblume (Löwenzahn, Taraxacum) und ihrem allbekannten Fruchtstand. Bei näherem Hinsehen entpuppen sich die kleinen stacheligen Früchte ("Achänen") mit Fallschirm als kleine Wunderwerke. Näheres im genannten Internet-Artikel.

We are of course talking about the blow-ball (dandelion, taraxacum) and its well-known infructescence. On closer inspection, the small prickly fruits ("achenes") with a parachute turn out to be small miracles. More information in the mentioned internet article.
