Es ist erstaunlich, dass in Berlin-Kreuzberg ziemlich viele Straßenzüge aus dem vergangenen Jahrhundert den 2. Weltkrieg überstanden haben. Im Bild Häuser aus der Wilhelminischen Zeit direkt am Landwehrkanal in einer attraktiven Wohngegend.

It is amazing that in Berlin-Kreuzberg quite a few streets from the last century withstood World War II. The picture shows houses from the Wilhelminian period directly at the Landwehrkanal in an attractive residential area.

In Kreuzberg sind sehr viele Straßen als Alleen gestaltet, so dass man als Fußgänger eigentlich nur ab Herbst nach dem Laubfall die Hausfronten auf der anderen Straßenseite bewundern kann. Das gezeigte Bild wäre so im Sommer kaum möglich.

What a magnificent composition! The way the buildings go off to the left, it's really neat. Wonderful condition of these buildings too, and they survived WWII...WOW! The architecture is very nice. Totally thought-provoking to think about all of this.
