Herbstfrüchte - Autumn fruits
Best on black!
Yew fruits in a fountain.
The Lindahl fountain in Würzburg was created by the city gardener Jöns Lindahl in the course of the conversion of the municipal glacis facilities into a modern ringpark. In 1887, due to considerable dissonance in the design of the landscape garden with the Würzburg media, the citizenship and the town council and probably also due to a nervous illness, Lindahlin committed suicide near his well. In his honour, the fountain was later named after him.
