Der Lagoa das Furnas (Furnas See) ist der zweitgrösste See der Azoren. Dieser Kratersee hat eine Fläche von 1.93km2 und eine maximale Tiefe von 15m. Der See liegt in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Die Wasserqualität ist relativ schlecht, da in der Boden in der Umgebung stark überdüngt wird.
