Die 19 Windmühlen von Kinderdijk, südlich von Rotterdam, stammen aus dem 18.Jahrhundert und wurden 1997 zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe erklärt.
Sie sind eines der beliebtesten Touristenziele in Holland (der Parkplatz ist aber etwas (zu) klein geraten). Der Eintritt zum Gelände ist gratis und ein Besuch lohnt sich. Den Eintritt ins Museum kann man sich m.E. jedoch sparen.
