Castello Sforzesco , an der Piazza Castello im Nordwesten der Altstadt.
1450 von Francesco I. Sforza an der Stelle der im Jahre 1447 zerstörten Burg der Familie Visconti gebaut.
Der Mittelturm mit Hauptzugang zur Schloss wurde 1521 bei einer Pulverexplosion zerstört und 1900 rekonstruiert. Er steht genau in der Blickachse der Via Dante.
Die Zerstörungen durch die Bombardierung 1943 wurden nach dem Krieg behoben.
Das Schloss beherbergt heute verschiedene städtische Sammlungen.

Hatte Glück,das Wetter stimmte und ein Touristenstrrom kam erst 2 Minuten später.
