Die auf dem 509 m hohen Puig de Sant Salvador liegende Ermita de Sant Salvador bei Felanitx ist ein beliebter Wallfahrtsort, Aussichtspunkt und Ausflugsziel.
Das Kloster wurde im Jahr 1348 gegründet, die heutige Kirche entstand im Jahr 1715
Auf der linken Seite vom Parkplatz befindet sich die berühmte 37 Meter hohe Säule, die von einer 7 Meter hohen Christusstatue gekrönt wird.
Von hier wie auch von der kurvenreichen Zufahrtsstrasse hat man einen schönen Ausblick über Mallorca.

Thanks, Garciel! On this day, the weather was unfortunately not ideal! (But when I was the first time here, it only rained - it was was probably 1966, when I was little ;)
