interesting to see that women still wore headdresses in the Central Europe. Actually this looks to quite close to my hometown (Bratislava). Thank you for sharing

It's in Burgenland, south of Oberwart, so not too far from Bratislava. Women not only there wore headdresses till the 60's and even 70's.

It was half a century away, but clearly it all has been one country for a long time. Apart from language barrier, which is actually a contemporary issue, Burgenland and South West Slovakia would be much closer in culture and lifestyle than these places with the mountainous parts in each country nowadays.
