Lightroom as been offering AI-supported denoising for some time now, which I am currently testing extensively.

Here is a second example, also taken at ISO 3,200. (View from the Bichlhof in Oberndorf (Tyrol, Austria) to the north towards the Emperor Mountains. The clouds are still illuminated by the sun, which has just set.)

I have also uploaded the original size 5568 x 3712 pixels to assess the image quality.

Lightroom bietet seit einiger Zeit eine KI-unterstützte Entrauschung an, die ich gerade ausgiebig teste.

Hier ein zweites Beispiel, ebenfalls mit ISO 3.200 aufgenommen. (Blick vom Bichlhof in Oberndorf (Tirol, Österreich) nach Norden auf das Kaisergebirge. Die Wolken werden noch von der gerade untergegangenen Sonne angeleuchtet.)

Zur Beurteilung der Bildqualität habe ich auch das Originalformat 5568 x 3712 Pixel hochgeladen.

Ich fand die Diskussionen letztes mal schon unsinnig. Bei meinem ersten Digitalfoto sah ich schon, dass eine fremde Intelligenz das Bild schöner gemacht hatte, als die Wirklichkeit.

So wie die Kunstmalerinnen und -maler seit Jahrtausenden die "Wirklichkeit" verschönern. Und nicht nur das. Wir Menschen gaukeln unserer Umgebung auch ständig was vor. Frauen traditionell mehr, aber auch sehr viele Männer, nur anders eben.

I see, as with most de-noising programs, when used as high as this, it softens the edges so much that it gives an almost cartoon appearance. OK to show a clean photo but loosing a great deal of detail that the original photo captured. I prefer the noisy picture to this I am afraid.
