Mountain Avens
A Mountain Avens (Dryas octopetala) , which exists at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,500m. The special thing about this alpine flower is that it attaches loose scree with its taproots and thus protects against erosion.

Ein weißer Silberwurz (Dryas octopetala) , der in Lagen zwischen 1.200 bis 2.500m vorkommt. Das Besondere an dieser Alpenblume ist, dass sie mit ihren Pfahlwurzeln loses Geröll befestigt und so vor Erosionen schützt.
