This Should Be Another Picture
After the first large snowfall in the Eastern Alps we drove to Kals on Thursday morning at 5 o'clock to take a picture of the freshly snowed in Großglockner. It should be sunny. From the Taurerwirt in Kals we climbed through the Daberklamm and the Dorfertal to the Tauernhaus. From there we went on to the summit of Spinevitrol (2.483m), which is an excellent viewpoint of the Glocknergruppe from the west.
But the clouds only gave a view to the Gamsspitze (3.156m) with the Fruschnitzkees. And also that for only a few minutes.
