H.A.N.W.E - in Schmirn Valley
View from the Stafflach Cliff above St. Jodok (Tyrol, Austria ) into the Schmirntal. (2 PiP's)
An interesting detail: The railway drives here - coming from the Wipptal from Innsbruck - into this side valley, makes a big turn and drives out on the other side again in the direction of Italy. This way she gains the necessary height without having to climb >2.5% (Good to see on OpenStreetMap).

Ein interessantes Detail: Die Eisenbahn fährt hier - aus dem Wipptal von Innsbruck kommend - in dieses Nebental hinein, macht einen großen Bogen und fährt auf der anderen Seite wieder heraus Richtung Italien. So gewinnt sie die nötige Höhe, ohne dass die Steigung >2,5% sein müsste (Gut auf OpenStreetMap zu sehen).
