Vietnam 2016 / Hanoi
The memorial in memory of the dead of the armed uprising (communist revolution) against the French and the dead in the Second World War. The statue is dedicated to the fight for independence and freedom.
After the defeat of the Japanese in World War II in 1945, Ho Chi Minh, as leader of Việt Minh, proclaimed the Democratic Republic of Vietnam immediately after the signing of the Japanese surrender,
Various interested parties fought for control over Vietnam. On 6 January 1946, national parliamentary elections were held in Vietnam to elect a national government. The Viet Minh won the majority of the seats.

Doug Shepherd, Richard Chamberlain, Ernest CH, Cämmerer zu Nau and 38 other people have particularly liked this photo

Ein sehr mächtiges Denkmal. Sie können sehen, wie modern es ist, an der Waffe in den Händen der Soldaten.
