English title: "YOU SHOUDN'T LOVE ME"

English title: "YOU SHOUDN'T LOVE ME"
The poet says upon her own book that "she tries to approach a new way of remaking poetries". Well, at least, she is on the way to achieving it: paradoxical writing; full of surreal images and unusual, unexpected, and surprising metaphors; sometimes a vernacular term forcing us to consult the dictionary.

Most texts are of great beauty and endless poetic imagination.

It's not the first time I comment on Cecília's poetry, nor will it be the last because being a productive and insatiable creator, she will continue looking for new ways.

And everything had already been saying about the endings
And everything had already been saying on the bodies' burial
Spring rammed desire
[the plastic tides on the beaches]
The moments before death
The startle steps
The thalamic deafening
There was nothing left but the stages of headlands
That slow breathing until the stumble in the finite
And everything had already been saying

A primavera abalroava o desejo
