Das Arzmoos (Erz-Moos) ist ein altes Bergbaurevier im Arzmoostal im Sudelfeld zwischen Oberaudorf und Bayerischzell... Kleine Stollen und Halden belegen dies. Bereits 1.731 begann der Reichsgraf Josef von Maxlrain nach Eisenerz zu schürfen. Ein kleiner Pfad führt zu einem Wasserfall der ca 30m herabfällt. Dahinter und daneben befinden sich die Höhlen - Stollen...

Genau wie der Graf von Anjou, der im Mittelalter in Frankreich lebte. Graf von Anjou war ein sehr reicher und höchst angesehener Mann. Allerdings hatte er ein riesengroßes Problem: eine hässliche, dicke Geschwulst am Fuß.
Deshalb passten ihm die vornehmen Schuhe der damaligen Zeit nicht - und er beauftragte kurzerhand einen Schuster, ihm große, schnabelförmige Schuhe anzufertigen. Darin konnte er seine riesigen Füße wunderbar verstecken.
Da der Graf von Anjou ein so bekannter und geehrter Mann war, schenkten seine Mitbürger der neuen Mode ihre volle Aufmerksamkeit und wollten ebenso lange Schuhe haben wie er. Doch nur die reichen Leute konnten sich die großen Treter leisten - und deshalb auf großem Fuß leben.
