EsG25 Palpita vitrealis

Crambidae, Spilomelinae Wingspan: 35mm.

A pretty almost all-white Pyralid which is widespread throughout Europe and also an occasional migrant to the UK. Worn specimens tend to lose their scales easily making the wings almost transparent. Just one arrived at our first night's trap at this site.
