Bad Bad Tractor

Bad Bad Tractor
We always used to say to our children that the horse/Easter Egg/car/airplane etc. that was placed on a post like this was there because it was bad. It became cheap travelling entertainment when someone would spot a "bad whatever." This tractor must have done a bad, bad, thing.

That article was very interesting and disturbing. It is hard to believe that the punishment was still being used in the 19th century.
