A "Tions's" group"

The "Tió" is an old catalan tradition. Some days before Christmas Eve the Tió (a wooden log with a smiley face) is located on the living room of our homes and partially covered with a blanket to keep him warm. Every night before going to bed we feed him with some cookies, chocolate or sweets. The next day he has already eaten all the food. On Christmas Eve the Tió is very very fat and then it is time for the children of the family to hit the Tió with a stick while singing a song to make him "poo". Every time they sing and hit the tió a gift appears from under the blanket.
