PRECARIOUS POSITION

A great set of images of the underground houses, with great colour. The stable temperature is a real bonus and a major reason for underground houses in hot gemfields here.

Eine sehenswerte Serie.
Normalerweise sind Höhlen feucht, das sieht dort aber nicht so aus.

I like the way these cave homes are nestled neatly into the rock face with the narrow roadway and fences being quite unobstrusive. A super series of images and many thanks for the notes. It surprised me that they are quite modern inside and that they can get a tv signal up there.

Ich hab die Hóhlen im Internet gesucht, aber nicht herausgefunden ob heute noch Menschen täglich in diesen Höhlen leben. Als Luxus Urlaub,ja! und Restaurants für Turisten gibt es noch und noch.
Auch das gefiel mir besonders:
Sostenibilidad
- Nunca dejes residuos de ningún tipo en el entorno, incluidas las colillas. Los restos de comida contribuyen a la proliferación de roedores y gatos asilvestrados que suponen una grave amenaza para la fauna.
- Respeta a los animales, no los molestes ni los alimentes. Si ves algún ejemplar herido, puedes avisar en el teléfono de emergencias 112. Tampoco arranques flores o plantas.
- No recojas ni te lleves piedras o cualquier otro elemento del medio natural. Tampoco lo modifiques amontonándolas para realizar las tristemente famosas “torres”.
- No camines por espacios no permitidos y respeta la señalización de los senderos. Salirse de los caminos habilitados provoca daños en el entorno y además puede ser peligroso para ti y para quienes te acompañan.
- No enciendas fuego fuera de las zonas permitidas y ten especial cuidado en los meses de verano.
- Procura no alterar la tranquilidad del entorno con ruidos excesivos (música alta, gritos...).

Ja Eva, als wir vor 10 Jahren diese Gegend besucht haben, waren noch einige Höhlen bewohnt und es wurden neue angelegt zur ständigen Nutzung. Wie Du z.B. in einem der folgenden Bilder sehen (werden) kannst, gibt es nun auch Strom und Wasser an einigen Stellen...

Die Fernsehantennen muten wie aus einer anderen Zeit an.
