Great series that make what I saw (a level 4) seem pale!!!!! Going back there first week of February, hoping to be lucky...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed! We are near solar minimum, only Kp 2 at the moment but hopefully it will pick up by February:-)

Well what a treat this morning to browse your Aurora Borealis photographs Gudrun. They are mesmerizing and so beautiful. I float between feeling that they are mysterious, magical and captivating. I am sure there many other emotions that can surface when seeing this display. Thank you sharing and do stay healthy. :) I don't see a way to make these a fave but they are. :)

Yes the mysteries of the heavens can be rather unnerving . I can't imagine what the ancients felt when they saw this spectacular event!

There were plenty of superstitions connected to the lights... But in Asia children conceived under the lights are considered especially lucky:-)
