Buddhist deities take on various shapes, in their wrathful manifestation as protectors of faith they usually have blue bodies and three eyes (and sometimes multiple heads, legs and arms)

Other examples:
Part of a Zangdogpalri (Guru Rinpoche's "paradise") painting at Trongsa Dzong- the sinners must stay outside- very similar to Christian hell;-)

Ich tippe auf Nepal, ist erschwinglicher;-) Bhutan kostet "Eintritt", deswegen sind da keine typischen Rucksacktouristen.

Wenn ich dran denke, frage ich ihn mal. Aber jetzt ist er gerade auf den Azoren ;-)
Rucksacktourist ist er auch nicht, er macht da nur bei ausgewählten Touren mit :-)) Und für's Reisen ist ihm nichts zu teuer. Zu seinem 50. hatte er sich eine Antarktis-Kreuzfahrt gegönnt.

Aha, ein Viel-Reisender:-) Wenn er sich Antarktis gegönnt hat, dann ist Bhutan natürlich gut denkbar;-) Meine Antarktisfahrt 2007 war noch ein richtiges Schnäppchen, für 6000 inkl Flüge und Iguazú kommst du heute nicht mal in die Nähe...
