... der Eisberg scheint mir doch schon recht zusammengeschmolzen; bis 2050 wird es wohl keine Gletscher mehr geben. Traurig, dass wir gerade die Generation sind, die die drastischen Klimaveränderungen miterleben müssen - und letztlich Alle auch Verursacher mit sind. Ein weites Feld ...

Uns wurde gesagt, dass der Gletscher, der den berühmten Eisfjord füttert (von dem der Titanic-Eisberg kam und von dem auch dieser Eisberg kommt), in 10 Jahren keine Eisberge mehr ins Meer entlassen wird. Er ist schon heute so, dass er inzwischen nur noch auf Land aufsitzt und nicht mehr auf dem Wasser liegt.
Das Inlandeis wird noch etwas länger durchhalten, aber die Tauwasserseen, die man vom Flieger gesehen hat, werden immer mehr:-(
Ja, wir alle sägen fleißig an dem Ast, auf dem wir sitzen und manche sind zu doof, das zu merken bzw. stecken den Kopf in den Sand.

The colour contrast between the red of the pickup and the pale blue of the iceberg is very striking. You have made this a very creative composition by including these two elements in juxtaposition. I hope you have a great weekend. All the best, Joe
