A prime example of brick gothic, the nave of St. Nikolai is 37m high but only 10,5m wide.

The last PiP was taken in 2014 with EOS 6D and 24mm, complete perspective correction resulted in the narrow format.

Such an impressive series of the interior of this beautiful building. Your exposure is spot on, and I love the warm colours. Beautifully sharp and detailed too.

I like all the photos. An interesting note to do with the last PiP.........it can't be faulted technically, but personally I prefer the uncorrected images in this context.

Thanks very much, Keith! The Leica photos are also (very slightly) corrected. I'm usually in two minds about perspective correction and agree that not overdoing it is the best way to go- especially as in such a high building you would always be looking up anyway;-)

Schönen Dank, Tanja! Backsteingotik ist schon sehr beeindruckend, für uns aus dem Süden ist das auch ziemlich ungewohnt.... Den Rahmen gab es bei meinem ersten Besuch 2016 noch nicht. Er trennt den Altarraum vom Kirchenschiff, wahrscheinlich kann man da bei Bedarf ganz zumachen.
